Default Free museum on BC Day

I can see the line-ups now. We know how Victorians like free stuff.

Correct. Then it went to pay for every day but Monday. Then it went pay all the time.

Yeah when I was a teenager I used to hang out there all the time. That and the National Film Board ... anyone remember that?

I loved the old museum in the parliament buildings. The stuffed animals on the main floor, the collection of pinned insect specimens on the second floor and the Indian artifacts in the basement. The echo-y sound, marble floors and old display cases. The stuffed and mounted bear that stood in the corner.
The deer heads with huge antlers on the walls.
A fun place to go in the winter or when it rained. Few people, if any, where ever there.

I am sure somewhere in the world there are other free museums open on BC Day.

Do we not have a thread re: the 150th celebration? Anyway, I thought the crowd for the concerts last night seemed pretty light. It was a drop in the bucket compared to the Commonwealth Games.

Ya, I thought there would be more people. I caught a bit of Burton Cummings.

Hey, it's all good, it helps us notice things that might slip by otherwise!
