Beat me to it! I was trying to picture all the locations, didn't think of the airport.

That's not a Starbucks location, it just serves Starbucks products.

EDIT: Plus, if we really want to get technical, and list only corporate Starbucks stores, the list gets narrowed to 29.

^ Incorrect. As of last month it is Starbucks. The place that served Starbucks has been replaced by a place that is Starbucks.

It is almost as if people do not regularly read the YYJ thread

If we're counting the Starbucks in Safeway (which are staffed by Safeway employees) then we should count the little Starbucks "outlets" or whatever they're called. (ya know, not the real Starbucks, but the places that sell it)

IIRC, there's one at UVic at the bookstore.. and that's all I've got.

There's one of those at the airport after check-in. Methinks there must be many around town.

I stand corrected, as I was referring indeed to that outlet that was brewing Starbucks coffee and serving Tazo tea, but was no more Starbucks than my kitchen cupboard.

Haven't been through YYJ in almost a year since I don't live on the Island anymore

The new one looks good.

Did the Government and Yates store get renovated?

^Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was done around a year ago. They do a pretty good job of renewing their stores on a regular basis.

Man, if it's been that long since I've been by that intersection, I need to buy a calendar. Or make better use of the one on my smartphone. Losing track of time here...

Only asking because I noticed a friend talking about how it now had a Clover machine, and usually Starbucks locations don't get retrofitted with Clovers without at least a minor reno because of the counter space needed.

^It stuck in my head because I recall walking by there and the place was gutted and I thought it would be closed for a long time. But when I passed a couple of days later I was surprised to see the place was already full of customers. I suppose they've done tens of thousands of renovations over the years and they have it down to a fine art.

It was renovated about two or three months ago if memory serves correct.
