I'm embarrassed to admit their blasting often scares me. They really get my office shaking, something even fell off the wall the other day!

And undo all of that work? I sure hope not!

^ Awesome.

It is going well it would seem. Lots of blasting and lots of digging.

We are waiting for a new Hydro connection. I think it is 2-3 away.

Why no current photos of this project today? Seems every other project got an update...

A little slow, but it's nice to see some actual concrete has been poured.

Excavation seems to be complete on this one and they are putting in walls and footings and the "core" has been completed as well.

BTW, this building has a huge footprint and underground section for only a 12 storey building. The underground portion looks to be at least three levels down, and is going to have a large surface area. The building is going to be much wider than the rendering first looked to me.

Looking at the rendering a bit closer, it looks like the first four above ground levels (dark brown on the left of the rendering) are going to be a much bigger base than I originally though. From looking at the pit, those four levels may extend around to the back of the building.

Is this parkade going to have a pay portion because there is no way that they need all that space for a twelve storey rental building.

Either Hudson or Radius I recall, there was some discussion of overflow parking for arena patrons.

I am pretty sure it was Radius where the city insisted on excess parking. I think it was lousy that a private developer was being forced to make up for the city's mistake in not developing more parking onsite at the SOFMC.
