This project is really motoring along. They're onto the ground floor for about 1/2 of the project on the Fisgard St side (that's for one building I guess).

It would have been nice to see a facade design break-up on the Fisgard Street side. None of the other buildings are as wide as Union. On the Pandora side Market Square will complement Union's uniform design, though.

Default Sidewalk Closed in front of Union on Fisgard St

Today I was out for a walk taking photos of this and that. As I approached the UNION construction site I needed to cross the road because there was a sign proclaiming the side walk is closed.

I as I approached I realized why it was closed.


Those construction workers are so thougtful and I was glad the sign was there.

All pipes that dump excrement onto the sidewalk in Chinatown should be decorated in a dragon's mouth motif. Unadorned pipes are fine in other parts of the old town but Chinatown deserves better.
