There's a great thread over at Skyscraperpage.com, Neighbourhoods that would make Jane Jacobs happy, with some American and Canadian contributions so far. Best of all, though, a couple of links by pdxstreetcar, who points to two valuable Jane Jacobs links. First, from Portland State University, a background page, which in turn provides context for a great 20-minute movie made in 2007, Jane Jacobs - Parting Words. Quote:
