Default More Emoticons on VV, Please

Not really sure where this thread ought to live, but I've always found the choice of emoticons available on VV to be rather lacking. Even of the 11 we do have, one is a duplication.

Other forums in which I participate have a rather fulsome set of emoticons, which I find helps to reflect the many moods, the many shades and the many sides of Bob Fugger.

You can't be serious. Why would you want more emoticons?

Honestly, I don't get it one bit!!! This is just absurd!

Uh oh, now I've done it.

Red face

I have a strange fascination for emoticons. The more the better.

I see no real shortage, but I'll prepare some new ones for you.

Funny you mention it, but I got the idea when I saw you pull out the Popcorn smilie out one day, in anticipation of enjoying the spectacle of a flame war. I tried to copy and paste one from another forum, but it didn't work - I got the same error type thing that VHF got.

Or you could just create you own. It took me like 3 seconds to create these:

*()* (hungover owl)

d{: (French man bragging)

~;B (Elephant wink)

%l (Confused Picasso subject)

~` (Grainy pic of Lock Ness)

You're all welcome to use them for a small fee.

I save some from various forums and stick them in my photobucket.

I've added a number of new smilies. Any additional smilie requests?

How about a native Indian, biker, and a cowboy?

Ask and though shalt receive - thanks, Mike!

Here are the ones I usually choose from. The list is excessive and many are car (Honda) related. http://tl.acurazine.com/forums/misc....=vB_Editor_001

Knock yourself out! (that's one I would like)

This is great! If you're still taking requests, I'm a big fan of (and they're all remarkably kosher):

:tomato:
:wish:
:yuck:
:2cents:
:rave:
:_ohsnap:
:woot:
:_pimp: (_ added...otherwise it shows as :P)
:chug:
:ecstatic:

:reporter:
:_pics:
:nono:
:_popcorn:
:yikes:
:huhsign:

 or

Seb, I'm not sure what you mean when you say you have them in your "photobucket".

I assume you mean the photo hosting site, if so how do you quickly/easily use them on this forum?

And shouldn't that popcorn one be "munching out"?

^ LJ just keep photo bucket open....and when you need a pic or an emoticon, just copy and paste the IMG code into your post.

That's the way to do it!

Or keep all the IMG codes (copied from Photobucket) in a notepad document for even easier reference.
