It appears on the surface that this project is already way under water, when they raise another 24m that will make it 134M if they build 400 condos, that would cost 140m. Surely they have financial projections by now that will explain what it will all cost and what revenue it will develop. Fairbanks, Your the messanger here, you tell us what you think is gonna happen to this project.

Impossible to tell as there are too many unknowns. What is the status of the contamination? Is Henry right and the water table is too high to allow underground parking? What is going on with the pub and why didn't anyone realize before now that it needed to be moved ASAP? How many pre-sales have their been and is construction financing in place? Is work stopped waiting Hazco does their stuff or is it ongoing?

Your comparing colwood Corners to the WTC? Well I suppose the land value would be the same, around 10 million an acre, and it is a catastrophic disaster and its well insured and its been a hole in the ground for a long time and its running grossly over budget. But colwood corners is no WTC.

Noticed a large crane on site now. No doubt this has to do with pile driving.

Ws at London Drugs this aft and the large crane is definately for pile driving. Saw the large corrugated steel panels ready for shoring up the Sooke Road side of the excavation.

Was only implying that water table levels do not affect the ability to build somewhere.

I was only implying that the cost of building and piledriving makes the construction expensive, were these costs budgeted for? Maybe the budget has been made public, anyone seen it? Was it in the OM?

More steel has been delivered in prep for pile driving. Very little activity on site today however dismantling of the Royal Bank building continues.

^Never a good sign, unless his performance has been so outstanding he's been lured away by a better job offer.

I'll be interested to hear League's spin on this. It doesn't inspire confidence.

Dionne is a she, we will probably never know why, as the dear departed are silenced by agreements and most likely large cash settlement. Have we ever heard from an ex employee yet? Even those that have won handsome settlements in lawsuites have been silenced.

Gee my memory is getting worse. Spanky123, what was the name of their American COO that slithered out of town in the middle of the night?

Do we know what became of him? He would be the type that would surface somewhere.

^ Yes, thanks for the memory lift. His "Linkedin" page only lists past history.

I wonder what he is "UP" to now?

Talking about staff, League has a staff of over 50 employees, an expensive office building an office Vancouver and an office in Dubai. I would hazard a guess that that is running up around $10m a year, is that sustainable?
