I was a little bit confused about this and asked a few times, but I am 99% sure I heard 2 years. I could have easily misheard though, they might have meant two years until they start on it.

If they put a tram on the Downtown to Uptown portion and run BRT to UVic and the West Comms from there I will be just about the happiest guy around. Somehow I doubt it will happen.

I love the idea! and when BRT ridership hits the right threshold, rail transit can go west as well...
