Got clipped by a scooter the other day downtown. A lot of these people seem to think because they are disabled or fat they have "right of way" to speed much faster than the flow of pedestrian traffic on the sidewalk. I'm quite a fast walker, but apparently not fast enough for the lady in the scooter who drove into my shin and then let out an annoyed "excuse me!" and she went past. I see this a lot, people thinking because they're in a scooter people HAVE to get out of their way. I walk quite a bit faster than average sidewalk traffic but I don't push people out of my way, it's NOT cricket!

Drivers who cycle from their parked cars to the scooter rental places are by far the worst. They don't respect anybody.

Police in Victoria were operating a road block early Friday when they spotted a man on a scooter who attempted to avoid the police check. Police say the driver was so intoxicated that he fell over.
